George Eliot Talks

Monday, 09 March 2020 at 7.00pm

During the bicentenary year of George Eliot, Professor Ruth Livesey gave an insightful talk about George Eliot's inspiration on Van Gogh.

Following on from the success of this event Professor Livesey will be repeating her talk at Nuneaton Library. Also giving a talk will be Dr Helen O'Neill. The focus of Dr O'Neill's talk is how Victorian attempts to deflect attention away from George Eliot led to an image problem after her death.

Access to this event is free but booking is essential, either in person at the library or by visiting Eventbrite.
