Sunday, 30 August 2020 at 11.30am

This tour, our last one for the year, takes you from Chilvers Coton, where Mary Ann was baptised and her parents and brother are buried, to Arbury Hall for a guided tour and time in the grounds or cafe. Unique to our tour is a visit to South Farm where George Eliot was born. We will also visit Griff House, where George Eliot lived for her first 21 years and Astley church, so memorably described in Mr Gilfil's Love Story

Tea and coffee are provided at the start and end of the day but you are advised to bring a packed lunch, drinks and sensible shoes!

Full details of the itinerary will be sent with your booking confirmation.
