In 2022, we opened our Middlemarch Festival with a free event - a selection of readings on the life and works of George Eliot, made for us by Vivienne Wood. It was very successful and attracted people new to Eliot’s work.

At this year's AGM, members of the Fellowship Council chose and rehearsed a selection of readings about ‘Relationships and Marriages in George Eliot’. The council have expanded these readings to just under an hour and will perform them at Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery
